Our children’s
ministry at Aveleigh includes children ages birth through 5th grade. |

| MISSION: The mission of our Children’s Council is to
provide a loving, nurturing and safe child care program during both worship services for
infants through five-year olds and to administer Christian based programs for children
throughout the year. Various programs
include: Nursery, Children’s Church,
Special Children’s Worship, Catechism, Vacation Bible School, Advent Adventure, Happy
Birthday Jesus Party, etc. |

| NURSERY: Nursery care is available
for babies and toddlers under 3 years of age who may become restless during the worship
services. Our goal is to lay a foundation of
faith by providing a safe environment that is full of love and nurturing care for infants
and toddlers under three years old. We pray
that as each child grows and matures, he or she will come to know and rely upon God, the
author of love. |

AVAILABLE:
If our child care workers need you for any
reason, they can page you and send a text message asking you to come to the nursery. |

| CHILDREN’S CHURCH
(3 - K): Children’s Church for ages 3 years through
Kindergarten is available weekly, following the Children’s Message at each worship
service. The children are escorted down to
the Children’s Church Room (located on the downstairs Educational Wing) for a special
time of Children’s Church which includes: singing, games, prayer, Bible stories, and
crafts - all age appropriate. |

|
CHILD CARE:
Child care for various ages is also available for programs held throughout the week, such
as: Bible Study, Chime Practice, Family Night Suppers and other programs. |
|
|
| SPECIAL CHILDREN’S
WORSHIP (1st - 5th): Children in first through
fifth grade are invited to come to a Special Children’s Worship held once a month
during our 11AM Worship Service. Children who
are interested in participating will be in worship with their families through the
Children’s Message. After the
Children’s Message is completed, the children will be escorted down to the Chapel for
a special time of worship which includes: singing, prayer, offering, memory verse, game
and object lessons - all age appropriate. |
