The Lord is working in our midst
through our Hispanic ministry

Josué and Selene Ortega are working diligently in Newberry’s Hispanic community to bring people into a redeeming relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Josué and Selene are also “on the air” each Sunday morning at 10:00.  The Hispanic station can be located at 1170 on the AM dial.  They began broadcasting their half-hour program on Sunday, July 10.  After deciding on a theme for the program each week, they present a devotion and message around that theme.  The programs are pre-recorded.

Please pray for the ministry of these two young, enthusiastic, and Christian adults.

English Classes

Fridays – 5:00 p.m.

    Saturdays – 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

The classes are held in the Kirk House.

How can you assist the Hispanic ministry? 

The following things are needed to further expand this ministry:

4 volunteers to offer drinks and popcorn and to make signs

supplies such as popcorn, drinks, ice, raffle presents,
Spanish Bibles, Christian T-shirts, caps, pens and pencils

volunteers to help with English classes –
no Spanish needs to be known

Money is also needed to purchase Spanish Christian movies.
