The Presbyterian Women sponsor a project
for children and youth

This project is for students at Thornwell Home and will assist them to develop their personal gifts, interests, and talents.

For example, if a student would like to play on a sports team, take music or art lessons, or participate in 4H, Boy Scouts, or Girls Scouts, the money sent would help them with lessons, uniforms, or supplies.

The Presbyterian Women invite the congregation to participate in this sponsorship to help these young people.  All money collected will be sent to Thornwell Home.  If you are interested, you may write a check to Aveleigh and mark it “Thornwell Self-Development.”  You may place your donation in the offering plate or turn it in to the church office.

The Presbyterian Women are collecting used pill bottles.  There is a collection box outside the church office.  Please strip the labels off the bottles before bringing them to the church.

The Presybterian Women will hold a Joint Meeting in the home of Karen Chasteen at 6:30 P.M. on July 14.  A light supper will be served.
Aveleigh has three Circles, which meet morning, afternoon (with nursery, if needed) and night.  The Circles meet once a month.  Circles are a wonderful time for study, fellowship, and community outreach.  If you have any questions or would like to visit a Circle, please contact Becky Coleman or Andrea Lewis.
